jensen vm9022HDN shuffle all songs

i just got this stereo and i am fustrated with the lack of shuffle/search features for USB drives

does anyone know anyway to sort by artist instead of album (folder) ?

does anyone know how to get it to shuffle all songs on the drive and not just the songs in one folder?
