Jensen LXA400

I need to know how to wire a Jensen LXA400 for a single subwoofer. It is a four channel amp, but Jensen claims it can be done. I don't have the manual and their website no longer has it for download. Somebody please help!

I would suggest not wasting your time. A four channel amp will most likely not have the power to maintain a subwoofer. Plus, Jensen's amps are not good at containing their magic smoke very well. I would look into a Hifonics amp, if your budget is tight, or even a Power Acoustik amp. Both would be better than the Jensen.

Thank you for responding. I only plan on having this amp for a few months, so if I fry it, who cares. I used to have a Phoenix Gold Ms 2125 but someone stole it. My sub is a JL Audio 12w3. It is running nicely off one channel right now, but I want more power. Jensen says I can bridge all four channels into one and get a lot of power, but they say the wiring is complicated. If I can get it to work that way, I will add my other 12w3. I built a new box for both. I know it is possible, but I have never wired a four channel amp that way. Please let me know if you know how to do this. Thanks.

The guy just wanted help with wiring his amp and you pretty much tell him it's shit. well the 2 amps you recommended are no better than what he has. and yes a 4 channel amp will run a single sub, you assclown.
