Jeep Grand Cherokee - Single 15" AQ HDC3 Setup - Need advice

Oh people run them @ .5 daily, the amp will take .75 + imp rise to over 1 anyways no problem, no reiability problems whatsoever

If I had 250ish bucks and I was you, wire to .75, pick up a C&D tech battery that are for sale on the forums here for $125, 40-$80 for a run of 2 or 0 gauge (2 obviously saves money and is fine for your amp, but 0 gauge gives you headroom if you go bigger), $15 for a couple ring terminals for the big 3 (so you obviously do the big 3), and thats puts you at..... $225 ish, Id spend another $30 on a stinger led voltmeter, always nice to watch it, and it looks cool

Youd be fine with that big batt, and there **** cheap

Do the big 3 man, it helps ALOOOOOOT

You can also get your factory alt respun to a higher amperage for ~100 if you have a local alternator shop

 
Oh and ps, I dont know if you have a weld supply shop locally, but here in my town we have a welding gas supply place and they sell pure copper cable, just a straight black jacket cable, but they sell 2/0 cable for $2.79 a foot, 1/0 was 1.99 I think, pure copper, just no fancy name or branding or middle man.

Check your weld supply shops if you wanna save some bucks. weldsupply.com also has VERY cheap ring terminals

 
WOT, you the man ! I do have a weld supply shop about 10min from my house , i will give them a call in the morning! So should i be running two batteries total , underhood and in the rear? Also whats the wiring config to get .75 ohms ?

 
2 batteries is better than one yeah, if possible, keep the second battery under hood ( I removed my big *** factory air box and kept mine under ), that way you dont have to run wire back to it aswell, saves you money and you save voltage on resisitance.

DO you know what coil config your sub is, I dont remember seeing that

EDIT: MLStrass said the sub MAY be DVC 1.5ohm, anyway you can verify that? Ill get you a diagram right quick, but definetely verify before wiring it like this

Ok wired it ++ , -- , connected the dmm to the terminals on the sub box and i get a steady 1.5 Is that what i want to wire to .75 ohms ? Dmm was set on DC OHM 200

Update: Found a full run of Memphis 4awg in the garage from my old blazer , possibly just gonna run 2 runs of 4awg, what do you guys think?
