Ok, so iv'e been trying to get my window crank off, and i can't. I am pretty sure there is no pin to pull. snoopdan told me i had to just yank it off( :)not that i don't doubt you), but is that how i should go about doing it? also it's a 95' cherokee. any help appreciated!

Get a thin peice of cloth, run it behind the window crank and twist it, then pull. There is a little metal tab you need to close to be able to pull it off. Just remember to put it back on, and DONT lose it!

did it go back on ok?

and im pretty sure theres no pin
Yes. there is a pin (clip) behind the window crank to keep it secured. Trust me. Just do what I said, make sure you twist it around the back of the crank after you slip it on and pull. it will come off. And so will the clip. Be sure not to yank to hard or the clip might go flying and you'll never find it. It's small.

hmm i tried looking forever, but i didnt see one. It must be small. ok, between the door and the crank there is a round plastic disk. Do i take the rag and move it between the crank and disk or disk and the door panel?

You cant see it. Which is why I told you to use the **** cloth. If you would have used it 'forever' you would have it off by now. That round plastic disk is on the back end of the clip. Slip the cloth in between the crank and that disk. Twist it to make sure you pinch the clip, then pull it towards you, wiggle it back and fourth while your pulling. It WILL come off. The crank tool does work. But I always use a peice of cloth. Just get a thin towl and cut a strip off it man. Your making this seem like a hard job. Its really quite easy. Use your head. Figure it out. I told you what you need to know, now go do it.

lol confusing. yeah i never seen a pin, at all. and most jeep owners say they pulled them off. maybe on newer jeeps have pins, idk.
