IM doing the big three on my cherokee, its the 4.0L straight six automatic ******. should I do the engine block/chassis ground where there is a braided ground on the firewall? and where is the best place exactly on the block to ground it from? pictures would really be a great help as well!

thanks!

on my car it's 1.5-2' of 0g from the alt bracket to the inner fender wall bolted through and the original is 2' of 8g on the ****** to the inner fender wall, as for my battery it's grounded back to the shock tower mount, I would get a pic but it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm all comfy watching a movie.

understandable its 2:30 here as well. Ill have to put of a pic of where I think im gonna do it, to see if any other cherokee guys have used the same spot. thanks man

as long as it's bare clean metal and a tight solid connection it's good to go but it doesn't hurt to ohm load test the area with a dmm just to insure it's a good connection point.
