LPF stands for Low Pass Filter

It allows you to cut off certain frequencys.

Input Level is your gain allowing more/less bass. Be carefull using it...

 
I assume you are running subs off your amp, so if thats true, you want the filter set to LPF... this will not let any high frequencies to your subwoofer which would damage them... and on the other hand if you were running your mids or highs off of it, you would want it set to HPF or high pass filter....

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

Dammned good speakers. Just pass up the CL series,and you will be pleased with CDT speakers. I still enjoy all mine. Polk MM series and Infinity...
