I would not recommend these, I don't know if you have had one before. I've had three friends buy these, and each fry them. I will say, one of those is because the kid is a moron, the other two weren't stupid, the sub just smoked. They weren't that loud either, or particularly clean.

lol what? I already have 1 and I love the sound. It sounds like they wired them wrong, they are 6ohm dvc, so the wiring is a bit funny

Friend you are WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY wrong!!!! These drivers have won IASAC sq comps as well as spl comps.....Hell I've personally won a USACi triple point show with two first place and one second place showing at that show and receive and invite to the finals that year....

I agree, I love these subs, Haven't heard any other sub as versatile as this one yet

Well, I suppose you guys probably do know better, the more I learn. Haha, the system I heard that it sounded the best in was a US Amps 2000x, and it smoked, but it could have been too many watts for it.

Thats not even close to enough power to damage one of these unless you are clipping the hell out of it, its been tested on the JBL crown amp and it took 8000 rms like a champ

Same amp powered an Ascendant Audio Havoc and Ascendant Audio Mayhem with no issue. But honestly, the subs could have been fake/bad they all bought them from a particularly sketchy audio shop.
