JBL P6452 4x6?????

i paid like a eighty dollars for a 4x6 and they distort at freaking nothin my 6x9 sound like a couple of eight inch subs off my sony head unit but these 4x6's sound like crap i adjusted everything and they distort i turn bass down HPF on treble down i have tryed everything.. i wondering could i have got a bad set or anything what are the best 4x6's to get because they ****.......

well, i have always had goos luck with jbl stuff, but i have directed ones in my sonoma. They sound good for 18$ bucks off ikesound. Cant beat that!
