Jbl gto14001

Anyone hear anything about the quality of this amplifier? It says it can do 1500 watts rms @ 2 OHms. Which trying to push two kicker L7s, this would be a perfect amplifier, and JBL is a good quality company.

The JBL 14001 will defintely put out what it is rated to do. I own this amp myself. Although it will do rated power at 2 ohms it is however a power hog. The efficiancy of this amplifier could be alot better but then again if this is the only amp that you are running then it will not hurt much.

I do reccomend this amplifier if you are running a basic beginner system but not to power a true spl vehicle.

Good information. The JBL GTO 14001 is a class D amplifier not class AB.

I have the amp as well.. plenty of power, and only running it at 1200Rms.. with room to spare..

And eh.. this amp is like a 2400-3000W Max amp.. to put it in perspective. Reason its so power hungry lol!

well i know of every store online including sonic electronics list th gto 1400 1 as an ab amp but they list the gto 2400 as class d hold on let me look at the guts
