jbl gto 2400

recently sold my mono amp and am looking for something new. Been tossing around soundstream dtr, rubicon or picasso btu not real sure on their quality. Seems too good to be true for price. Also considered MB quart 2000 but their quality seems to definitely be questionable.

Used amps is a bit scarce right now on here as most I am interested in are a bit out of price range. not necesarily a case of saving more money but dont want to drop a grand on an amp, or even 700 really. Im thinking 500 is most I would go.

Remembered jbl and looked at HK website and they have refurb gto2400 for only 400 bucks shipped. seems like a great deal. Im going to be running two eclipse 9122 at 4 ohm and I think they 1700 watts at 4 ohm should be plenty of power. I like the option of having mor epower on tap at 2 ohm for future upgrades/swapping of subs.

Question is, is there any real reason to not get the jbl? If i remember correctly the gto wasnt the top of the line but is still reputable. Saz3000 not 2500. Prob more power than I would ever need though. Don't run monster subs like a lot of y'all

Only problem with the jbl is that it's 2 ohm stable other then that it's a great amp lots of power

JBL is a very under-appreciated brand. I think you'd be very happy with that amp.

2 ohm wasnt a concern as I was planning on using it at 4 ohm. can always get subs to match 2 ohm in the future.

may pass though as now my deal for my other eclipse ti fell through and I may just end up selling the other Ti

they are incredible amps. 400 bucks is a great price for the power and cleanliness too. That is under my cost for a new one and if you're lookin to bang on a budget, that is a great deal. I would much rather spend 4 on a GTO2400 than say 300 on an AP3000 or something.
