I have this amp and have a dual 2 sub. I thought this amp did 1200 rms at 2 or 4 ohm? Am i right or wrong? Im not talking about the small black bp 1200.1 that does it at 2 or 1 ohm im talkin about the new version bigger one.

It's rated for 1100w @ 2ohm and 800w @ 4ohm.

The theoretical difference there is only 1.3db (real world would likely be even less than that). Unless you are worried about competing where every .1db counts, that difference is small enough to not concern yourself with for daily driving purposes. The difference would be barely audible, at best.

People worry too much about inconsequential amounts of power.
