I have a mazda protege and am getting 2 10" JBL GTIs

Any creative ideas for the install?

I want to keep the cost around 1000 for the install and am probably gonna go with black vinyl for a nice clean look.....

One of the thoughts I had was some sort of raised floor or angled wallwith the subs firing into the enclosure so the big nasty baskets are visible

any suggestions?

hes including the box design......better be some pimp fiberglass work.....i can see paying a grand from a crazy install....other people pay much more.

i dont have the patience or knowhow to do my own install. and im too busy to do it even if I did.

I want my install to look really nice so i can show it off when its all done and places that do real professional installations that look great charge your pants off for doing so. That being said, 1000 doesnt get me very far at all at the local stereo shops or tweeter, certainly not into the fiberglass realm.

so lets try this again.

i wuld have a lot, don't know wher eto start with.

hmm, the simplest thing:

1. take out ur spare tire, n make a amp rack/other stuff with a plexiglass window to look thur with some neons to illuminate them. then, a sub box facing forward, with a plexiglass window on the back with neons (so u could see sub n neons).

2. sub box in spare tire, with amp/s n others on the side with their custom racks with some neons to show off.

3. this would be nice, but u would be wasting space. make like a triangle /\ with subs on one side, n amp rack on the other.

i dunno how much stores charge for watever they do, n dunno how much space u r willing to give up. but this r the ones that i think, again i think would be less than 1000 n that would look good.

yea, i tried that, i get frustrated tho cuz im on 28.8

so after spending 30 minutes opening a whole bunch of windows and finding they are all normal boxes sitting in the trunk i give up
