You heard a 15" Sony P5 they **** very sloppy. The 12's will kill that JBL Gt in SPL on anyday. Your friends all bash Sony because they have either done horrible installs like most of you kids do or they have never heard them. Sorry I bet you would of been more happier with a 12" Sony P5 ported guarenteed but no. Have fun kid! :blow_up:
I have heard alot more Sony's most likely then you boys. I have done so many and thought the same way about them *******. If they are ported and done nicely and powered right they sound very loud for what they are.

Have you ever seen the Powered 4 Sound videos? Like the 6.5's?

Yes I know JBL is better, but I bet I can take a 12" P5 and whoop his 15" JBL.

THe p5's are sounding like pretty good subs. I wonder if my 2 flat cone 10" ED k's can compete with 2 12" p5's.

there are a good amount of people out there with them...they've been available for a while...just got motors in last week though...

Do you really have an rx-7 with a turbo? If you do those things are pretty quick. How do you like your XXX sub? Do you find it to be more SQ or SPL? I know their site says it's their sQ sub.

Yes I do own a 1989 RX-7 Turbo, its has a T06 turbo intercooled. Very quick machine! I love the XXX for both SQ and SPL, Yes the sub was made for SQ, but the SPL is amazing on it.
