Ok, I just took this thing out of my pickup about 3 hours ago and its sitting in my room, and Ill never use it again. Works perfect, just wanted to upgrade to something a little better sounding and higher quality, plus I redid my whole system pretty much.

300x1 at 4 ohm

600x1 at 2 and 1 ohm

Freq. Response-10-320 Hz

THD-.10%

S-to-N-90db

Dimensions- 9" tall, 12.5" long, and 2.75" thick.

Works perfect. Cosmetically there is some paint rubbed off just a little, scratches, and the lights are broke off a little. They still work fine though.

I bought it as a refurb last December.

I'll take it for $115 shipped w/out the fuses. LMK. But yeah guys, I've seen 1200.1's in EXCELLANT shape go for $190 shipped....so $150 + shipping for half the power and pretty bad shape cosmetically is a tad high. I've had 3 600.1's and about 6 1200.1's in the past 3 years and only 1 (1200.1) got hot running at 1 ohm. Nice amps and nice power.

how would u rate the SQ of the amp to a rockford, lanzar class d, power acoustik class d, or a memphis (i think memphis has the upper hand)???

On SQ I would say the fosgate, but it really depends on the HZ curves they are all different and your compairing brands that dont belong in the same realm. You cant put a 1000watt lanzar amp against a memphis 1000watt amp and expect the same outcome it just wont happen. The lanzar will probably be at 1000watts if its the opti series, but the memphis will be underrated and give you roughly 1300 depending the model if its the old all chrome 1000d then you will see 1300 easy there for the sound will be totally different. For the price though I love my pa 3000dbs. The jbl doesnt have a sub sonic filter either which is a huge asset for sealed boxes.

The sound quality of the amp is excellant! I honestly didn't notice a big difference b/t the 1200.1 and the ED 9.1 (SQ wise). And I'd say the memphis and jbl are about on the same level (step above the others). Memphis makes quality amps also. But anyhow, my offer still stands.

Aside from the lights, I dont think its as bad cosmetially as everyone thinks it is, but I dunno. I might possibly be able to get some pics. Ill post back here if I can

These JBL mono amp are highly underrated they are durrable as hell and can take a pounding day in and day out without breaking a sweat. Dollar for dollar I would say they are some of the best sounding amps out there. I have owned 3 JBL 1200 in the past and 2 JBL 600 and I think they are some of the best for the price. I have owned rockford amps and I personally would take the JBl 600 over a 600 watt Rockford amp. I have not owned the new ROCKFORD amps so In cant speak on them. Free Bump for a nice amp.
