Recently bought this amp off the classifieds here and was assured it worked. FInally got around to hooking it up today and get nothing but a red light on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

It's getting a solid 14 volts and I tried 2 other amps in its place that worked fine. Any idea what could be going wrong here? OR did I just get a bum amp?

lol you got ****ed broseph....
that's what it looks like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Waiting for a response from the seller, bought the thing 2 months ago and have just now hooked it up since I was busy moving cross country.

According to the manual solid red means "Excessive voltage on B (+) connection." Checked it with a multimeter, and its 13.8-14. Thats not to high for this amp is it? wouldn't seem right...

IMHO if a buyer of my amp contacted me 2 months after receiving it saying it didnt work I would.......I dunno mang. if the seller tells you it worked, you are screwed because PP won't touch it after 45 days....no claim. /story

I know I'm screwed, but with moving and everything I just had more important things to do than try a 200 dollar amp. I'm just trying to see if someone can help get it wroking.

I sold him the amp. I got it back from DB-r electronics after they said it was good to go. I trust DB-r so I just assumed it worked when I sent it out. I am not trying to screw anybody and I did not knowingly sell a non-working piece of equipment. I value my reputation as a seller and a buyer on here and I am willing to work with the johnag to get this sorted out.
