jbl bp series vs the gto series

I have the gto 14001 now and got a buddy who will trade me his jbl bp 1200 and a nice 15inch sub is there a huge difference between the two amps it should be only a 300 watt difference

What 15 inch sub? Both amps are good quality and you would never hear the difference between the two amps IMO. If its a good sub I would go for it but I am that guy that changes setups like the wind blows. But if you are happy and don't really need a sub then it may not be worth the hassle in the long run.

Bp series are strong had a friend running .5 ohm daily for a year unknowingly uneducated about wiring then
