Jbl 600.1?

Anyone know if this amp is any good?

Its rated at 600 X1 at 2 ohm load.

Thats only at like 12.8 v or something.

Just wondering if it would make for good sq and clean power with an aq sdc2.5

i suppose so they are decent amps the gto series im assuming

No.. its an older amp. The gto one only does 580 rms at 2 ohms and they want like 250 for it.

I have one of these bp600.1's in storage. I looked around for a while for one, and found one locally on CL. Dude had a 10w6ae hooked up to it at 3ohms and it sounded pretty good. I have yet to hook it up.

It is a little scratched up and one of the little bumps on the top is broke off, but it still looks alright.

They do full power at 2ohm and 1ohm btw

I would maybe get rid of mine for the right offer. I don't have the original box or anything though.

Yeah they are really cool amps. My buddy had a 600.1 on two thunder6000's and it got them pretty loud. I was surprised how they held up though, because another buddy of mine cranked his gain after I put em in and the only thing that happened was the dust caps started coming loose.

I assume you're talking about the BP line? I used to use the 1200.1 years ago and just bought another one for $100. Probably my favorite amp that I ever used. Admittedly I've only ever had five amps, but the JBL was far and away the best of 'em.

If you can get a good deal on it, take it.
