jbl 600.1 or 1200.1?

Originally posted by mgaidica im going to be running 2 EDk12 (2 ohm or 4), ive been told a jbl 600.1 will do alright but i was wondering if a 1200.1 will be over powering? I want to make sure the subs arnt half assing on me.
you can get the 1200.1 and turn the gains way down along with the volume. what are the RMS ratings for the ed12ks?

i think u will hear a lot

i used to have 2 mtx 8000 10s (400rms)

and i had a mtx 6500D (775 watts)

then i got my mtx 81000D (1500 watts)

my bass was deeper and cleaner!!!!

i just turned my gain down a little bit

i would go with the 1200.1

u can never have too much power!!!

k's rms is 400. What kind of box is this going in? If you send k's 600+ watts in a ported box, you will have a nice new smokemachine in your trunk. It should be ok in a sealed box, but keep the gains wayyyy down.
