JBL 1201.1 In Protection Mode - Internal Short? PICS

I just bought this JBL 1201.1 on craigslist for 30 bucks its in protect.

It goes into protect when power is given to the remote terminal, and this trace/wire sticking out on the board gets red hot.

Also drops my voltage a LOT like a dead short.

vs. VFL 200.1

Anyone know what it could be before I send it to amp repair center?
