Jarleif's 07 Grand Prix GT

Thought I'd post a build log. This will be a slow process and will be updated accordingly. I'm not into SPL, and don't really care if I hit a high number.

I'm planning to build two separate boxes on each side of the trunk with each sub facing inward/back and slightly up. The amps will be racked in the middle towards the back of the trunk. Current equipment consists of

- 2 JL 15w6 - Sealed box way too big

- 1 Phoneix Gold mono block

- 1 Phoenix Gold 4 channel

- Voltmeters for both amps

- Infinity 6x9's

- Stock front speakers

- Stock headunit

- LOC

- Big 3 with 2 awg

- Optima Yellow

Changes to come

- Sound deadening

- Headunit

- Front components

- Pillar pods with Volt/boost

- Box/rack build

I'm excited to start fab on the boxes/rack.. I have some unique ideas that I haven't seen before... i'm sure it's been done, but maybe not..

if your going sealed you might as well.

where did you get those tail light covers?

I am going sealed, and have certainly tossed the idea of fiberglass around...If i do, it would be just to achieve a certain shape and not worry about the finnish... MDF will most likely be my material of choice, and some sort of carpet/cloth...

I got the taillight covers from PFYC.com, one of the sponsors of MIGPC, and had my body shop color match them.
