I hate to spoil your rant here, but the guys on this forum have more experience with audio equipment in one finger that you and your "installer guy" share in your entire bodies. These guys have built countless 150+ and 160+ rides. They know what they are doing and you clearly are the most uneducated EE that has ever walked the earth. If you think they have massive egos then you are the only ignorant one here. If you join a forum to hear opinions and then argue with everyone's input, your wasting your own time and your wasting our time. Either quiet up and learn something, or leave this forum and learn it yourself.

In all seriousness John, have you checked out other sites for a different viewpoint on your questions? I refer to such places as DIYMA.com - Car Audio Forum & 12 volt Community Board and caraudioclassifieds.org. That really seems to be where the discussions are at these days. Leaning more toward diymobileaudio, for obvious reasons.

Some things definitely deserves little flak. I've always said that the years between 18 and 25 are for doing all sorts of crazy, irresponsible ****, as long as there are no lasting medical, financial, legal or reproductive consequences. Don't **** your future for a good time, but that's the only real limit. Gotta have memories to look back on and be glad that you were a little bit crazy.

Ya. Cellphones have come a long way today. Just glad smartphones weren't around in the early 90's in high school.....so much ********* doing stupid **** would be recorded and put on youtube lol

They're right, as hard as it is to believe.
Both are full of themselves, convinced that they're experts on everything, and like to talk themselves up to make themselves feel superior, but at least Papermaker doesn't ask basic questions after claiming to have knowledge of all things science.
John here might be a hair more mature, though. I haven't heard him resort to junior high level mom comments yet.

You are correct sir! For example I found out today from Don the U.S. PHD rep that one of PHD's employee's brothers wife is pregnant and having some health concerns, which is delaying the delivery of my PHD 5.25" AF speakers, and I was totally cool with that as I am a nurse and know how pregnancy can throw a woman for a loop healthwise. Inside I AM a truly nice and compassionate person. I just do NOT put up with c-r-a-p from anyone!!
