Ivie IE-33 RTA & SPL Meter

while working with the sound techs of unwritten law the other day, the head sound engineer had this interesting device, the ivie ie-33. it converts a hp ipaq into a rta, spl meter, o-scope, singal generator, volt meter, and more. according to the engineering, it's a very accurate device. i'm just curious if anyone has used this device and if it compares to the more traditional units.

would be quite sweet if i were able to test it out for car audio use.

dam! a bit pricey there. i so badly wanted to ask the engineer if i could borrow it for a few min to test out the rta in my car.
