ive read a couple times where ppl have argued bout amps putting out certain amounts of power according to their fuses?.?.?.? what does that mean. i no theres some math to it, and id like to understand it better. thanks

amp draw x volts = approximate power.

that's used loosely.

I prefer: amp fusing x volts x .75 = approximate power.

there is something other than just fusing though.. I have a rockford 50.2 and it has... I think 10a fusing.. It pumps my rears louder than my fronts which are on a 500 x 2 @ 4

normally rule of thumb is 10amps of fusing per 100watts...like 1000watts normally has 100amp fuse...ed 9.1 has 4 30amp fuse and 1200rms get it

fuses are for the wires/battery for fire protection.. But if the amp does not have one internally they are usually recommended external fusing. a 200-250a fuse should be fine close to the amp. I would probably do 200
