and the site says "RMS Power (1 ohm) Not Stable"

go with 1500wrms @ 4 ohm...should be plenty

already tryed that but my box is to big and they kept bottoming out so i wired them at 4 ohm till i build another box

still...wont it put out too much power for 2 12" ?

if its doing 2500wrms @2ohm ..so at 1ohm its probably doing 3.0kwrms?

yeah maybe with a smaller box it will handle that much power

Try it at 4 ohms first. If it gets loud enough for you leave it like that. 1 ohm can not only damage your subs, but potentially your amp as well, I'd avoid it if I could.
