i want to get a hard hitting spl sub 12". what is a deep pounding sub for this price. i might be able to spend upwards to 250.

also what kind of box and amp would you suggest for the sub?

you can get a 12 inch T1 from rockford for that price easily. Ebay is selling them for lik 190$-200$. It is RFs best sub. it works well in ported or sealed.

sx from group buy would be sick for the price from what i heard.

ported would get you pounding harder, and i would reccomend getting something like a Rockford T3002 for an amp. It is a new power series amp, and is badly underrated. It says it is rated as a 300 watt RMS amp when bridged, but the actual output of the amp on average it puts out an avg or 838 watts. That would be plenty to power a T1. You can purchase one of these bad boys for 230$ on ebay.

i got my idmax used on ebay 220 shipped i put it in a 2.0 ported box tuned to 32 hz it wangs and can hurt me some on some music traccs nuff said.
