Ive applied to colleges...WOOT!!!

im j/k, i am going to learn, but i DO want the college experience (drinking, partying, girls, etc)
Most everyone goes to college to learn. Partying 24/7 for a year is probably cheaper than tuition, room, and board. Most people in college for the first time try to straddle the two lifestyles, but the thing is that of all incoming freshmen, 1/3 won't make it to sophomore year...

i see both viewpoints (goddy and chevy) but i have to side with goddy in this case. ryan, the last thing u need to be doing is spending money, let ALONE on alcohol which can and will get pricey if u are ever within a state of marley lol.
well i got a little more money now

well concidering im like a senior (4th year) at my local community college, and i party, and havent dropped out...i think i could handle it

Being an engineering student myself, I don't quite understand how you got into PSU and not drexel. PSU is Ranked within the top 20 engineering programs in the country. In comparison, drexel isn't much to sneeze at. Have you been drexel? I myself, and many others I've talked to did not like the campus or location at all.

Like mentioned above, Bucknell, is a good school, as well as Lehigh, and Lafayette, if you've got the qualifications. The greek life at Lehigh is crazy. If I remember correctly its almost, if not over, a 50/50 split of greek/nongreek. As a result, I'd imagine it's far from dry. It's a nice campus, and the engineering facilities are amazing.

well the thing is, when i first applied to PSU, i applyed under computer science not engineering. and i never said drexel was the shit, but its a good school. IIRC i looked up Bucknell and Lehigh and neither seemed to have a good program. maybe im thinking of somewhere else. oh well, im not actually GOING for engineering, its just something im considering.

I couldn't tell you from experience, but an engineering or science(seems you're interested in that) degree at PSU or some other university is much harder than at any community college. Just be careful before you decide to focus on partying.

i checked those schools out. and theres no way i can get into Lehigh or Bucknell with the grades and GPA i have. but Lafayette looks like it might be possible, they have no minimum GPA for transfer students. i will be reading up on that college even more. any1 know if Lafayette is a dry campus? lol

My dad recomended University of Delaware. He says that about half the engineers in his firm come from UD, and the other half come from PSU. I checked it out, looks like i meet the requirements. But my friend told me that its a huge STD school. ANy1 know if theres any truth to that? cause thats kinda scary. also again, is it a dry campus? lol.

Any school you go to can be a huge STD school. It just depends on who you know and what they got lol. I'd recommend Penn State to tell you the truth, I've heard great things (from #47 J-Geezy :p).
