Powers on, doesnt make any sound or produce voltage output. Im gonna go remove the fuse from the power wire and see if that will "reset" it or something, it doesnt have a prot. light or anything.

Your power wire fuse could possibly be blown.

If the amp is mounted directly to the chassis with metal screws it could have caused a short.

check your rcas...plug in an ipod to the RCA inputs and see if you get any sound.

Just removed the fuse and let it set for 10 mins, no go still. I guess its blown. RCAs have good output, everything thing is good going into the amp, so that means its the amp. Im highly pissed.

Woot. Called alpine. Theyre sending me a replacement and a shipping label to return the old one. Suckers getting ebayed soon as it gets here.

Whats the offer? If its still under warranty even with me replacing the terminals ill send it back for another replacement and then ebay it.

it should be under warranty.. don't let them give you shit.. the holes have nothing to do about the board.. if they want to replace the whole amp then you might be charged a small fee.. with it being the second time its in most likely they might want to change the whole board though

They didnt repair it, just sent me a "refurbished" replacement, think thats the problem. I used the original amp and beat the shit out of for 8 months, low volted it and all, and it finally gave up. This isnt the same one, and i was taking care of this one. Warranties ftw.

hmm, strange. i have never had any issues with the mrp-f600 i used last year. that thing is still running strong and i ran that thing pretty hard too.
