itunes

Either buy a external hard drive or if you have a DVD burner, burn data dvds. I would just buy a 250 or 500gb external harddrive. Storage is cheap these days.

no my other comp doesnt have a dvd burner, but i think someone else told me about an external harddrive. how hard is it to add all those files on the ext. harddrive? sorry to ask dumb questions, but when it comes to computers im kinda dumbfounded...

Just drag the folder over to the hard drive

actually found out on itunes that itunes 7 (newest version) you can backup your files on blank disc's, depending on how many songs you have. ex. i have just about 1000 songs=8 discs, better then having to go out and buy a ethernet cable or external HD
