Good job pointing out the typo, I have got to make sure to keep my grammar at an all time high for the internet....
wheww, close call...
For instance, when there are 6 or 7 people on the defensive line rushing the quarterback, the QB has to have the common sense to get rid of the ball quickly. You can't sit back there for 5 seconds and expect 5 people to hold off 7 for an extended period of time. That happened multiple times. A quick 2 step drop and a bullet pass to a receiver = 5-6 yards all day if he would have done something with those opportunities. Sad game. Im glad the gators won. They deserved it.Then the o-line, my god, what is wrong with the o-line all of a sudden!
Are you retarded? Smith wants to make something happen. Yeah some of those he should have thrown away, but wouldnt make much sense being that they most likely would to have to punt the ball anyway. So he was just trying to make something happen. Its also kinda hard, when trying to make something happen when you running away in hopes to get 1 second to get the ball away. Also those 5-6 yards didnt happen because they were covered like glue. So yeah, lets rather get a chance of getting intercepted then getting sacked. Am I retarded? Obviously not. You don't sit in the pocket for 5 seconds looking for an out....you go with a quick slant route and hit the receiver for + yards rather than a sack and gettin' put on your ***. It's common sense. I'd take 5-6 yards all day rather than 3 or 4 sacks looking for a bomb pass that isn't a given. I hope you realize, with 7 people on the defensive line rushing the Qb, that leaves 4 people to cover the field. Put a TE on the Line and cover a side, no back in the field motion him to get in a receiver postion. If no one covers him, that leaves him open. If they do, that pulls one of the other defenders off of coverage and leaves man to man atleast. If not, an open quick pass for the 5-6 yards. Troy Smith just had too much pressure on him and wasn't thinking. The plays called weren't the best either. Ohio State is a good team. They were just slackin tonight and had there minds somewhere else it seemed. Are you retarded? Smith wants to make something happen.
