amazon forgot to give me the pioneer adapter but lucky the shop had one. Also amazon forgot to give me the auto eq cd so I have to figure out that one...

One thing I found strange is that I have to have the volume counter up to like 25 for normal driving and if I want it Loud it needs to be up to 50...The installers said thats a pioneer thing so whatever...

That sounds like you need to have somebody double check the gains on your amp, they may be set too low.

Is that mids/high and sub preouts? I have read a couple places the sub channel likes to clip earlier than the front/rear.

that's usually how it works....if you want it louder you turn it up

yes that is the case sub out clips at 54. front and rear clipped at like 60.

Mine showed no clipping at 58. 59 was a bit of clipping 60-62 was trash.

Each unit is individual.

We're talking about at what volume each pre-out starts to omit a square wave. Basically, what volume you don't want to go past.

Yes, but you never want to turn it up that high.

the radio doesnt come with an auto eq cd. google how to do it you just need the mic and the radio all the data is internally stored

that sounds about right..50 is a good max vol level..I usually run at 25-30...40-46 when I want to be loud..I set my gains where at 50, I can hear the change in pitch indicating possible clipping and a little distortion.

How does everything sound?...pretty good, I bet.
