I'd have to use 2 washers in between my oem and b3 wire on my alt to clear.
I know its prob be fine but wanted to check with you noobz first.
Dremel...............word.

grind off some of that plastic so you do not need washers...the washers are not so much the problem as the lack of stud available to tighten with...IMO, use the new wire and remove the oem....(but I don't know what you are trying to power with this and that would be the main factor in the decision to use 2 wires on everything or not.)

I took a little off the plastic surround, I don't want to take much off due to the intake mani being so close. I was able to just use one washer after a little grinding on the ring terminal. As long as the washers ok I'll make it work.

I don't have much of a system anymore. Just 2 type r's off a 2400db turned down way low. See my old "rearview mirror took out a chunk of my windshield" thread as to why. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I'm doing this for the car, not so much the system. It struggles sometimes in the winter and figured since I already did the grounds long ago that I'd finish it. If it helps it helps, if not no biggy.

the thing about using the washer, is to make sure there are no edges(from being manufactured by a punch press) that will prevent the washer from making full contact on both sides, not to mention the material used to make them is not exactly the best conductor material to begin with....and if you are struggling with winter cold, look to a big quality AGM deep cycle up front(you should already have this anyways)

After you crimp that terminal you should heatshrink the cylinder part (where the wire is inserted). Might be overkill but if that thing rotates it will contact that manifold and give you a nice light show.

I took it to the grinder and made it nice and flush.

I'm not really struggling with cold starts, the car just periodicly(Rarely but still) struggles when the fan kicks on at stoplights in the mornings when its

It's still low enough to make contact with the "stops". I did elec tape it and use wire loom to protect it.

It's done, idles at 14.20~ with everything on. Iirc it was 13.95-14.05 before. I'll see when it gets cold if it did anything.
