I'm not 100% what they were doing, but they were doing quite a bit of power. Sean could clarify for you since he had a sheet full of numbers on them when I was there.

His battery setup is, IIRC, either 6 or 8 x 8-volt batteries in pairs @ 16v per pair and an additional pair of 16v batteries to the side... with higher voltage testing we utilized his 200-amp alternator adjustable up to 18 volts.
