I'll be ordering some 18" Fi softparts for my 05 XXX within the next couple of days. My plans for a box is somewhere around 7.5-8 tuned to 33-34hz. It should give me around 1100-1200 watts. I'll upgrade the amp after I get some other shit settled. I have a question on port area for this sub...how much should I go with? I've did a little research and most seem to go with 95-110 sq inch. So I think I should do atleast 95 sq inches? How many 4" aeros would it take for a 7.5-8 cube box to get enough port to not get any noise? I'll post a log as go along. Thought about going with a 15 myself...but then I came across this hatchback. 2 things I've always wanted, a hatchback and a 18. :yummy: I cant wait.

Btw, I'll be doing my first fiberglassing job on some pods also.considering this car didnt come with speakers from the factory I have NO WHERE to put any speakers.
