**** it.

you got it the second time they are/were Holden Monaros

im not worried about resale value in the least bit chances are im going to keep it after I stop paying for college and get a real job and what not, also my name is the only one on the title and registration and insurance, I may live at home but I pay my way. All the parts on my car can be put back to stock in less then an afternoon, so thats not an issue either. Why is it that when older men get butthurt they bring the whole boo hoo me I have a house and have to support a family card into play, whooopdy doo man I could careless about your life.

How is it young men that live with moma play the "I'm such a bada$$ and I know about life" card..

Clueless. It ok, most of us were the same way.

It guys like you that join the navy cause they cant find jobs and mom kickes them out. I'm not going to baby sit them, I putem on the streets. It was a better place when you could spank your own kids
Yea the Navy and the University of Pittsburgh are the same...

I pretty much agree with all the car bashing in this thread. I haven't seen a car that was built very well since the 70's. Most of the junk made after that was designed to fail within 100K miles, and performance? What performance? There were quite a bit of old boats from the 60/70's that could do 13's and were 3200+ Lbs!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They weren't even trying, by today's standards.

I drive 40+ year old VW's and BMW's before '04 (when they went to China!) and Porsche.

VW's are the only thing I've found where you can do 12's in the 1/4 and still get 30mpg for less than $10K //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ITT: Some old douche thinks he's king of the forum because he's old, and thinks no one deserves respect unless they're just as old as him.

Pathetic. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

So if were doing 12s with less than 3k invested and only got 10mpg, is that still pretty close? LOL

The old VWs and BMWs are cool as hell also. ****, back in the 60s-70s toyota had nice cars, can you believe it?

Close, but anyone can do it getting 10mpg! lol

The old Supras and Celicas were good cars. Although my dad had a Celica that the gas tank foam got eaten and clogged filters weekly, since new. The Nissans with the "Nap Z" head were awesome cars too, but that's the last of the nice Japanese cars IMO. If it wasn't for the crappy interiors in the RX-7's, I would say that's one of the best cars I've owned... ('88 FC). The overall body wasn't good build, but the engine, ***** and suspension is awesome in those cars. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
