I like to think that I help the forum by posting in the tech sections & educating people. You guys can act superior but all your doing is lining Goob's pockets, lol.

Actually, the ONLY reason I'm doing this, besides the bold username, is to put money in Goob's pocket. If you guys don't believe that your contribution on this site, be it monetary or verbally, positively (or negatively) affects the future of this site, you're wrong. Goob doesn't just put every penny he makes off this site into his pocket. He uses SOME (not all of course), either in the form of time or actual spending, to improve features and benefits on CA. If you would like to see improvements to this site, then it's your obligation to contribute. I support this site, do you?

There was absolutely nothing invalid about my statement, unless you yourself in fact don't vote because you support said president. If you don't, then please, just don't vote at all. Same with this site...If you don't support Goob and this site as a whole, then don't contribute.

Lining Goob's pocket? As if anyone here who was in his shoes wouldn't want/expect to turn a profit? If you dont feel you need to pay to be a premium member to contribute to this site, I completely understand. Everyone can contribute in their own way. But this crap about Goob just being greedy gets annoying sometimes. He is not into car audio, so you cant expect him to do the work it takes to maintain and improve this site, with no monetary compensation. Would you go to your job and work for free? No. So quit bitching that Goob should.

Maybe it's different because you weren't around in the old days, idk. Goob doesn't exactly have the greatest track record with being active on this site, it was neglected for years. Giving him ANY kind of extra compensation on top of all the ads we're subjected to just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I support this forum, I support car audio and the desire for noobs to learn, but frankly I still do not support Goob. I like a lot of the changes he's been making, and I may change my mind eventually, but right now my $3 is worth more to me than having a different color name and bigger pm box.
