is wiring overrated???

Terminals makes a big difference.. espeacially in the power wire to the amp... am sayin that by personal Xp

The conversion I got was 180 AUD = $142 USD

For $142 I would have shipped you five 8 ga kits of good quality and still pocketed about $20.

And yes, 8 ga is fine for that amp.

power wire makes no difference... signal wire and speaker wire can make a difference though, a very noticable difference...

I disagree, i know someone who purchased 4 guage wire from a hardware store, if you look at that compared to like knukoncepts, stinger. The wire is in size almost doubled, the more strands in the wire means more voltage for your amps. Dont get cheap in the wire department. Wiring is crucial in every system!!

No. Strands help in flexibility, has no bearing on power transfer, larger gauge wire means more current can transfer, has nothing to do with surface area, otherwise distro-blocks would be a severe currect restricter.

yes. you got ripped off bigtime. cable braid, extra zipties and that crap is all stuff you can get for $20 at the hardware store. you paid about $80 for it.

i got a 4guage kit at walmart (US shopping mart) for $25usd.
