Ok.. .The best installer around here actually works for Circuit City... Today I went to talk to him about installing my Orion400.2 and Rainbow SLCs but he wasnt there.. I talked to another guy and I got quoted $54 to install the components, $60 for the amp, $50 for Tsunami RCA Cables, and $50 for a Tsuname 8 guage wiring kite.... It may be high, but I am definitely willing to pay the $114 for the installation after seeing this guys work and hearing his references.. However, I do not like having to spend $100 on the wiring..
I ran to Wal-Mart and found an 8-guage wiring kit for $26.. I had read before Wal-Marts amp kits are alright.. the kit came with RCA cables, but I decided they probably are crap.. So i went to Best Buy and bought some Fosgate Twister RCA cables for $22.. They had some $50 Fosgate cables too, but i didnt know if its worth it or not..
My question is, will my 8-guage wiring kite from Wal-Mart and the Fosgate Rca cables be alright for my Orion400.2 and SLCs?? Could I really be able to tell a difference with the $50 RCAs?>? What would yall do in this situation?
