Is this the right idea?

I will be hooking up front stage only using comps. From the back of my HU, do I use a 2-male to 1-female y-adapter from the front and rear pre-amp outputs? My HU has both front and rear plus sub out. Today I am having one of those "you learn something new everyday" days. I didn't know before that when using 2 or more amps that you have to fuse and relay the remote line. Last time I had a multi-amp install I just jumped the remote from 1 amp to the other.

you can get away with daisy chaining remote wire to amps when using only 2 or 3 most of the time. anything more and a relay is a good idea. If your only running a front stage then just use the front out's on the head unit. why are you trying to use both the front an rear if your only running fronts?

My reasoning for this questions is that sometimes there is a song where when recorded, to give it a little bit of an effect, they only record on the left or right or front or back for background fill.
