If it's been renewed by Kicker it will have been tested to perform as good if not better than a BNIB unit. With a 3 month warranty, so long as the price is right, I'd say go for it.

I dont see why people are scared of refurbished items. They have been checked out just like a new one.

I never get refurbs just because I like my equipment to be perfect, refurbs can be scratch & dents...

I do get refurbs, because I care more for performance/price ratio.

Jackson does bring up a good point, refurbs can be scratched, so you gotta consider that. Personally, I know Ill probably end up scratching something myself, so it doesnt really matter.

Are you talkin about ubid.com by chance? if so what the problem, they are an authorized dealer of kicker.

have a refurbished kenwood. the bass boost switch doesn't work right, i guess they didn't cheak or fixed it very well. bought it from car-domain

i didn't return it cuz it was to late. i didn't used the bass boost at first.

if you get it. make sure to try every switch.
