Wired my subs down to what I thought would be a straight 1 ohm load.

When I use my DMM to check I get 1.5.

How is this possible.

touch the leads on the dmm together...see if there's a resistance there

Check the resistance of your DMM leads. (touch them together, see what the DMM reads)

Subtract that resistance from any measurements you take.

take that off the 1.5, so 1.2

close enough

then your at 1.2 ohms this is taking into account the wiring and terminals so your right.

if you wire those d4 in parallel then you will be at 1ohm. Would most likely read that wire dmm was touching the wires coming off the terminals inside the box as stated above. That apsm should do great on those hifonics subs @1
