An amp rated for 750x2@2 ohms. Take a D2 sub and wire each coil to one channel of the amp for a 2 ohm load on each channel. That puts 750 to each VC. Is it possible or am I doing my math wrong?

Yup and each coil is a D2.

you can do it that way, or take it up to 4 ohms or down to 1 ohm, and bridge the amp, depending on amp.

Amp Im looking at cant do 1 ohm load. So it would have to be 2 ohm load on each channel for optimum power.

But is the amp bridgable? If so, i would wire the sub up to 4 ohms and bridge the amp. It should do the same power as runnign each channel on 2 ohms.

Doesnt say in the manual. Its rated for 1500@2 ohms mono bridged.

bridged 4ohm mono usually puts out the same power as 2ohm stereo so just bridge the amp.
