the power is coming from the alt and charging the batt at the same time. get a 16v alt!!!!!!!!!!

except even the smallest car batteries hold a lot more reserve than 100 farad of capacitance. As far as gaining volume. Just depends on how bad your voltage is. It should help period.... But whether you hear the difference is on you. But will help save alternator over time

I cant tell whos giving me a serious answer or just breaking balls

My question never asked about volume gains just better bass response as in sound qaulity. My friend has same exact setup box everything except with batt in back and his bass feels like it hits tighter and harder more defined. Wasnt sure if it was my imagination or not so i figured id ask here.

i never get under 14 volts when pounding with one batt so i dunno
