I've got a 4 channel amp that puts 320 wrms total. id like to hook it up into a single 400 wrms sub which has single voice coil. btw, amps bridgeable. Is it possible to bridge 1st and 2nd channel then 3rd and 4th channel then hook it up to the sub?

positive-positive then negative-negative. this wont burn my amp?

If you had a DVC it could work, but not recommended. If the sub you have is a 4 ohm then you could connect it to one of the channels and just not use the other. The amp most likely doesn't support 2 ohm bridged, though it may.

i understand "using what you have" but in this case, it's best to buy another amp. unless it's a good amp stable at 2ohms bridged, or you have 2 LOW power single 4ohm subs.
