Is this ok?

IS it ok to run speaker wire (12 gauge) right next to the main power cable (4 gauge). I've heard from some people that this is a real no no while others say its perfectly fine. On the drivers side i really cant find any way to avoid this. So will i be ok?

You can ... If you experience any problems, then move it.

I have had my speaker wire run next to the power wire for a while with no ill effects.

I have 1/0 cable running next to my components' wire and no problems.

Actually i have two 4 gauge wires running. One is to an 80wrms 4 channel the other is to my mono amp ( 900 rms)

There really is no issue with DC.. With AC it can be but not with DC....

DC is in your car and in a battery, AC is what comes out of your wall.
