much better alternative, if you already have the laptop..

I have usually been happy with laptop based setups over cheaper hand helds.....

Been a while since Ive been on did you ever get those hdc3 15's on the bk1800's ???

i rather something small like the nano .

i have not gotten the other sub or amp.

i have a box plans for 2 15" ported. so im going to build it then get the other sub. then ill need to get another amp. but its not looking good for the ppi 1800 as they are getting harder to find. so im looking at other sub amps. not sure yet what im going to get.

I have the DSO Nano V2, it's great. They're nice little units. I built an x10 probe for mine (basically just puts a resistor in-line with the signal you're testing, so I can scope very high voltage systems). I would definitely recommend the DSO line to someone looking for a handheld scope.
