Is this kit sufficient

I have a JL 1000/1 and a Sundown 100.4 waiting to be install. Can I get by with just this the Kicker PKD1 1/0 AWG 3000W Dual Power Amplifier Kit alone? Both amps require a 4wg wire. So I figured I'd buy the Kicker amp kit and use the distro block as close to the amps as possible for the 4awg wire. Am I on the right track or out in left field? A local stereo shop wants to charge me 200.00 for a stinger 1/0 kit and 100.00 for the 4 awg kit.

Screw the local dealer. You can get the Kicker PKD1 off ebay for ~$80 shipped.

That kit is enough for your install.

Thanks guys. I ordered the kit off ebay for 98 shipped. I got the 07 kit.
