I blew a woofer and order new woofers and tweeters. My old system was a 2 way in stock locations.

Hertz mpk165 components

2 Image dynamic subs id8v4 with a custom box ported

Pioneer p1400 dvd headunit

Jl audio 450/4 amp for woofers/ tweets

Keenwood amp for sub.. forget wich one

Mini dsp 2x4

My new setup is all the same except new woofers are hertz 1650.3 and scanspeak tweeters d3004 6020 00

Everything else is the same..

Spending less than 500 more .... id be happier not to....what am i missing or can i replace to getter better sq? Everything is stock location on a g35 coupe ...no rear fill... all wiring is quality wiring. No sound deadning or special install... just removed amd replaced speakers

When you guys say sound proof what do you mean? My doors are preety solid, where would i need to deaden with a front stage only set up?

Not just deadener.

The entire car. Deadener plus MLV plus CCF.

For the front doors seal all the big holes. No backwaves. If the mid isn't flush to the interior you have to seal it. Look at FAST rings. Sometimes you can use weather stripping if the gap is small. Eliminate every rattle and reverb you can.

Is there a brand besides soundskin that combines deadning with foam? Soundskin is a bit pricey..85 for 20sq ft
