ok im about to install components with an amp and was wondering if this is the correct way to install:

power to amp, speaker wire from head unit to amp, 2 speaker wires going from amp to each of the Passive CrossOvers, and then from those, wires going to the speakers and tweeters?

Is that correct?

Typically RCA cables are used...I assume that's what you meant. If so then you are correct.

Make sure you set up your crossovers accordingly too

Speaker wire implies high level outputs. This you dont want. RCA mean low level outputs which you do want. You also need a ground wire for the amp in addition to the power wire which you left out. Also if your amp does not have a built in fuse you need an external fuse inline installed. If your amp does not have a high pass filter you need a resistor inline before the crossover (commonly called a bass blocker).
