is this correct...?

i have a PHD2 and was wondering what i was thinking is it correct or not.

heres some specs on the amp.

Number of channels : 1 / Mono Block

Max power output : 2000 Watts

RMS power 2-ohm : 1000 Watts

RMS power 4-ohm stereo : 500 Watts

i was planning on hooking up 2 SVC 8ohm subs to the amp parallel. to get a 4ohm load, so that means i would be getting 500 watts at 4 ohm and 250 watts to each sub right? and what does it mean by 4ohm "stereo"?

If it is a mono amp there is no stereo.

yea that what confused me, i thought mono amps where only mono..lol.

some specs of earthquake amps are misprints. i had an issue with that at my buddy's shop when i was there
