Is this an alright idea?

I have a 90 amp alternator on my scion xb, and im actually using a stock battery. I got the big 3, 0 gauge wiring, and such, but i need to upgrade the front battery, and put one in the back as well.

If i put a kinetik hc1800 up front, and then put a kinetik hc1400 in the rear, you think that would work out well for 1800-2000 watts from a future amp? Right now im running around 900 watts off the audioque 1200.

Im eventually gonna get an alternator.....

I think you'll be fine. I have an XS D5100R up front and a D3100 in the back and im running 3K+ watts. I know mine is still alot bigger than what your planning on getting but those batts seem adjusted to handle 2k watts. The alternator is definitely important. Run your stock alternator too long trying to keep those two batteries you want charged and itll just die. Id go for the alternator first because thats truly what makes the difference because the alternator will keep the volts on the battery(s) up. Battery just acts as storage kind of like (i hate to say it) a capacitor. Upgrade the front battery and get maybe an 180-200amp alternator see how that fairs once you get your amp. If it still isn't enough for it get that second battery and you should be fine
